A Faithful Friend

A faithful friend is one who stays by your side at all times, in joy and in difficulty, without conditions or deceit. The Bible teaches us in Proverbs 17:17: "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity." However, even the best of human friends can fail us, because we are all imperfect.

Jesus, on the other hand, is the perfect friend. He gave His life for us, showing us the greatest example of love and faithfulness. In John 15:13, Jesus said: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." His love does not change with time or circumstances, and His friendship leads us to truth, peace, and eternal life.

A common friend may accompany us in happy moments and support us in some difficulties, but only Jesus can transform our lives, give us purpose, and be with us until the end. He is not only our faithful friend, but also our Savior and eternal guide. Pastora Jadira García
